Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Operator unable to locate bleach sanitizer at the time of inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Facility must have bleach prepared at 200ppm to allow for proper sanitizing of equipment and food contact surfaces. Bleach spray bottles was located during the inspection. If staff need to search for the sanitizer spray bottles, it is not used frequently enough to sanitizer equipment and food contact surfaces.

Observation: Droppings were found throughout the facility.
Corrective Action(s): Contact professional pest control operator to service facility to remediate pest issues. Provide pest control service reports for review by the Health Department.

Observation: Rodent droppings were found throughout the facility.
Corrective Action(s): All areas affected by rodent droppings must be cleaned and disinfected with a bleach solution.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Spray bottle labelled air freshener was used to store bleach sanitizer.
Corrective Action(s): All spray bottles must be properly labelled to identify contents and to prevent accidental mixing and or misuse of chemicals. Containers need to be relabelled as needed.

Comments

-Walk-in coolers were at 1C and 4C.
-Front cooler was at 3C.
-Line coolers were at 4C.
-Front beverage cooler was at 4C.
-Front line freezers were at -18C.
-Ice cream freezer was at -18C.
-Cleaning and sanitizing carried out in the 2-compartment sink. Bleach and sink plugs available.
-Handwash station equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Food items were properly labelled with the producer/importer.
-Grocery store food items were in good condition and within their best before dates.

*Self-service of bulk foods are only permitted if the following conditions are met.
1) Either a handwash station with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels is provided or an alcohol based hand sanitizer.
2) Signage is provided to inform customers to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer prior to self-service and informing customers to maintain physical distancing of 2m.
3) Self-service area high contact surfaces must be sanitized on a regular basis.
