Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 11 Lactantia 10% creamers were stored at room temperature. The internal temperature was recorded at 23C.Staff stated that the creamers were brought out of cooler an hour ago. However, no time tracking or record keeping provided to verify it. Staff discarded 11 creamers at the time of inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Cold potentially hazardous food such as creamers must be stored at a temperature of at least 4C or lower.
Option 1: You can use ice under the creamers if you wish to store them outside the cooler. However, ice must be changed frequently to ensure the temperature of creamers is maintained at 4C or less.
Option 2: You can bring small batch of creamers that can be used/sold within 2 hours and keep them at room temperature. Time tracking must be conducted to ensure that the food products do not exceed 2 hours at room temperature. Records of time tracking must be maintained and provided to district EHO upon request.

Musty odor and black spots (potentially mould) noted in the walk in cooler.
Corrective Action(s): Remove the spots and disinfect the area with 1 part bleach to 9 part water solution. Check for any water leakage issues in the cooler.

Routine inspection conducted.

- Temperature of coolers found below 4C
- Temperature of freezers noted below -18C
- General sanitation of the facility was satisfactory.
- Slurpee machine was maintained in good sanitary condition.
- Handwash station was available and had adequate supply of hot and cold running water, liquid soap and single use paper towels.
- 200ppm bleach solution was prepared at the time of inspection.
- No signs of pest activity observed at the time of inspection.
