Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): No sanitizer detected in container with cloths submerged in front service area. No cloths stored in sanitizer solution in back cookline.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure 100ppm chlorine sanitizer is readily available in food preparation areas. Keep all wiping cloths stored in sanitizer solution to prevent microbial growth. Sanitize food contact surfaces throughout the day or as needed.

402 - Employee does not wash hands properly or at adequate frequency [s. 21(3)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): When how the sanitizer solution available at the cookline is used, the food handler said she uses it to sometimes rinse her hands. Operator was part of the conversation to hear the staff member's response.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure hands are washed properly at the hand sink area by the dishwasher. Hands are to be washed with soap and water, lathering for 30 seconds then rinsed with clean warm water and dried with a single use paper towel.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Noted container of frozen beef at room temperature.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure frozen potentially hazardous foods are thawed in cooler or under cold running water at 4C or less. Do not thaw at room temperature.

Observation: Ice wand was cracked/broken.
Corrective Action(s): Obtain another ice wand that is not cracked/broken and in good working order. Ice wand is impertive for the operation as there is not enough cooling facilities available.

All hand wash stations fully equipped with soap, paper towel, hot and cold running water.
All coolers 4⁰C or less (drink cooler, prep cooler, sliding two door cooler...etc)
Freezers x 2 -19C and -18C
Hot holding of rice in rice cooker, peanut sauce in hot holding unit and pots of curries on the stove all higher than 60C
General sanitation satisfactory. No obvious sign of pest infestation noted at time of inspection. Back door was closed at time of inspection.
Ice machine appeared clean with scoop for ice stored outside of the ice in a separate container.
High temperature dish washer achieved 71⁰C (with thermolabel).
All stored foods appeared protected (ie. stored off the ground, covered, lights in food preparation areas had covers..etc)
Washroom door opening into the back area had self closing hinge installed on it.
