Comments

Boiling of semi-critical items is not categorized as an approved disinfection procedure, have discussed with my Manager, we will confirm approved disinfection procedures and advise operator. Until such time as this confirmation of the boiling procedure and documentation requirements are available please use an approved chemical sanitizer. Please ensure that documentation is available on the type of alcohol being used for disinfection and the drug identification number (DIN) is kept for reference.
