Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Cheese Ensaymada from Loriz Bakery (label states Keep Refrigerated) was stored/displayed for sale at room temperature. Total number of items: 6
Corrective Action(s): Cold potentially hazardous foods must be stored below 4C to prevent the growth of pathogens and or the formation of toxins. Items were discarded at the time of inspection.

Observation: 1 can of Goldseal Pacific Pink Salmon and 1 can of Pinoy Style Liver Spread was found to have severe dents.
Corrective Action(s): The safety of canned food items with large dents cannot be guaranteed. Inspect canned foods on a regular basis and remove damaged items. Canned items were removed at the time of inspection.

Observation: Area behind chest freezers were found to have dead ants and large amounts of sand - appears to be an ant hill.
Corrective Action(s): Have facility treated to prevent pest infestation.

Comments

-Chest freezers (5 in total) ranged from -15C to -24C.
-Upright cooler was at 4C (Coca-Cola) but is not used for the storage of potentially hazardous foods.
-Food items sold in store were found to have labels from approved source.
-Food items stored off the floor.
-Canned food items were within their best before dates.
-General sanitation satisfactory at the time of inspection.
-Back kitchen area is not being used for food production - oven is used to reheat operator's lunch. No food production for the public is to occur in the back kitchen without health approval from the health department.
