Comments

Follow up inspection:
-Dishwasher was filled during the inspection by the Operator. Dishwasher final rinse temperature was at 72.3 degrees C (71 degrees C or hotter) at the plate.
-Sinks were then checked for availability of hot running water. All handwashing stations and 2-compartment sink were supplied with hot running water. Hot water from the faucets of the sinks was measured to be above 45 degrees C at the time of inspection.
-Operator stated that a plumber has assessed their hot water tank yesterday and that their wife had overfilled the dishwasher yesterday.
-Operator has another plumber scheduled to arrive today. Operator is planning to increase the hot water tank when the restaurant is closed on Tuesday after the assessment with the plumber to help prevent a similar issue from reoccurring in the future. Please provide an update to the district Environmental Health Officer and contact them for a follow up inspection.
-Make sure all handsinks are supplied with hot and cold running water to meet the demands at your busiest period and even when the dishwasher is filled up and in use.
-Cleaning improvements were made to the shelf and lower surface below the chopping block.
Note: Shelving unit above the saran wrap has rusted/worn out materials. Please repaint or replace it with a durable, easy to clean, smooth, impermeable, and non-toxic shelf; Correct within 1 month.
-Public Health Act Closure ORDER was rescinded at the time of inspection. Health approval was granted to re-open the restaurant.
