Observation: A couple of bags of dry food product (e.g. rice, cinammon sticks) were observed to be left open. A few sealed bags of food product were stored on the floor near the back door, in close proximity to recycling/garbage.
Corrective Action(s): Above-noted bags were closed. Ensure food is properly covered/sealed to protect from potential contamination at all times.
Ensure dry storage area is organized so that food storage is separate and away from other types of storage (for example, tools and recycling). Date to be corrected by: February 11, 2023.

Observation: Existing ceiling tiles are porous and not in accordance with the Fraser Health approved floor plans.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure washable T-bar ceiling tiles are installed, as specified on the Fraser Health approved floor plans and as documented on the initial health inspection. Ceiling tiles located in the kitchen area are to be smooth, non-porous, easy to clean, and suitable for the intended purpose. If you have any questions, contact the Environmental Health Officer (contact information provided). Date to be corrected by: May 10, 2023.
