Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): No bleach sanitizer was prepared for use at the time of inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Food grade sanitizer must be prepared and available for use to sanitize food contact surfaces while facility is in operation. Bleach at 100ppm was prepared at the time of inspection. To prepare 100ppm to 200ppm bleach, add 5mL of bleach per litre of water.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Blender containers and shakers are not sanitized after each use.
Corrective Action(s): Blender containers and shakers must be sanitized after each use OR if used to make the same type of drink, every 2 hours. Preparing 3-compartment sink with 100ppm to 200ppm bleach will facilitate sanitizing of equipment between uses. 3-compartment sink with 100ppm bleach sanitizer was prepared at the time of inspection.

Comments

-Double door glass cooler was at 3C.
-Single door glass cooler was at 4C.
-Under counter freezer was at -13C.
-Chest freezer was at -15C.
-Cleaning and sanitizing carried out in the 3-compartment sink. Bleach and sink plugs available.
-Handwash stations were accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Water for scoop changed every hour.
-Ice machine was clean and sanitary.
-General food storage practices good at the time of inspection. Foods stored off the ground and protected from potential contamination. Raw eggs were stored at the lowest shelf.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
-Washroom clean and sanitary. Handwash station supplied with liquid hand soap and single use paper towels.
*Recommend facility discontinue the storage of the bleach in opaque squirt bottle - light may cause the bleach to dissipate.
