Comments

Routine inspection of the food and merchandise distribution centre for Big Box Outlet stores.
* Consultation with the Store manager re: selling specialty coffee to store customers. A commercial specialty coffee machine will be placed
on a countertop in the store area. Specifications for the coffee machine approved. A double sink with hot/cold running water must be provided
in the coffee serving area for hand washing and washing utensils/milk jugs etc. According to the store manager, the plan is to install the sink
by next spring. In the mean time, a portable hand wash station with hot/cold running water must be used for hand washing. Please send the specifications
for the portable sink to our office.

* New food sorting/repackaging room is being constructed. This room is equipped with a wash sink. Ensure this construction zone
is sealed from the rest of the warehouse (especially food storage areas) to prevent contamination of food products.
* More cleaning required in the food storage areas.

Bait stations noticed on the exterior of the warehouse.

Please forward pest monitoring reports to our office by fax at 604-514-6122.

No dented cans noticed at the time of inspection.
