Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All areas of the facility were reviewed for compliance

Observed Violations
PHYSICAL FACILITY, EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS: 11020 - CCLR s.13(2) - A licensee must ensure that the community care facility and the furniture, equipment and fixtures within it are clean and in good repair while children are in attendance.
Observation: the following areas are in need of repair or replacement, the top fence piece is in poor repair, the foam padding on the bench seat is coming apart the step on the back of the tricycle is rusty and in
Corrective Action(s): please ensure the above pieces of equipment and or fixtures is replaced or repaired
