Comments

Inspection conducted for upstairs permitted kitchen area that has been approved as a catering kitchen by previous district EHO; operator not present at time of inspection
Kitchen not in use at time of inspection
chest freezer at -22 deg C
Sliding glass door cooler at 3.9 deg C
Fumehood is ok
General sanitation ok.
Ensure to keep sanitizing solution (bleach water) available on site when kitchen is in use
**Note: operator upstairs works irregular hours, based on orders/demand. Inspection report received by staff downstairs of the Garcha Bros Meat Store. Called operator and he indicated that this kitchen is not used often for catering services as he uses his other Garcha Bros locations; However, if you plan to keep this kitchen open and operational, it must still meet all the original requirements you had when you opened (ie. All coolers must still be working and at <4 deg C, freezers must be working and at <-18 deg C, and handsink must always be stocked with liquid soap and paper towels).

If you do not wish to use this kitchen anymore, the file can be closed and all equipment/food upstairs will need to be removed. Please notify Fraser Health before taking any of these actions.
