Observation: Number of droppings and captured rodents decreasing.
Corrective Action(s): Continue to relocate to walk in cooler at night all items that can potentially be chewed into by rodents (ie popcorn, breads, dog treats etc) as well as food items packaged in "soft packaging".
Ensure the floor containing any spilled food items is thoroughly cleaned every night before staff go home, especially in hard to reach areas.

305 - Conditions observed that may allow entrance/harbouring/breeding of pests [s. 26(b),(c)]
Observation: Gap not repaired at base of front entry door.
Corrective Action(s): Until repaitred ensure a physical barrier is placed at the base of the door at night to prevent pest entry. Staff informed me this will be repaired this week.

Observation: Floor damage observed in front of meat dept walk in freezer.
Corrective Action(s): Repair floor. Staff informed me premises will be getting quotes this week

Code 302 noted on Routine inspection # BWOI-CP9U25 of Feb-21-2023
Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
Observation: Several knives stored in the "Clean tray" observed with food debris still affixed. These were removed to be rewashed and sanitized at time of inspection.
Wiping cloth observed stored on counter. This was relocated to the sanitizer solution at time of inspection.
Handles to sandwich cooler and below counter cooler in deli observed with food product build up
Correction: Ensure staff have been trained on how to properly warewash.
Ensure staff are aware to store wiping cloths in the sanitizer container fully submerged when cloths are not in use. Solution is to be changed every 2 hours or earlier if impacted with high organic load.
Use a scrub cloth with grit to clean handles to equipment daily.

Observation: Sanitizing sink observed filled with trays. Quat sanitizer tested at 0ppm Quat. Quat sanitizer bottle observed to be empty. Full container of sanitizer replaced the empty one at time of inspection. Once new container was installed, final rinse tested at 200ppm.
Correction: Resanitize all utensils/ trays as it is unknown as to when the quat sanitizer container was emptied.
0ppm in wiping cloth containers replaced at time of inspection once the sanitizer container was replaced.
