Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Internal temperature of sandwiches in the front sandwich cooler was measured at 6.9C. All the sandwiches were relocated to a working cooler at this time.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Liquid soap dispenser in the back hand washing station was not in service at this time. Liquid soap replenished at this time.

Observation: 1. Dented can foods discarded at this time (crushed tomatoes and chick peas).
2. Multiple opened dried ingredients were in its original packaging.
Corrective Action(s): 2. Any opened food items must be resealed or relocated to a food grade container with tight fitting lids.
Correct this by: April 12, 2022.

306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: Moderate dirt build up noted on the kitchen drop ceilings.
Corrective Action(s): Remove dirt build up from drop ceilings in the kitchen. Ensure to cover all foods and food contact surfaces prior to cleaning. Do not attempt to clean drop ceilings during food preparation. Correct this by: May 31, 2022.

308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
Observation: 1. Front sandwich cooler's ambient air temperature was measured at 7.5C. Temperature log reviewed on site. Historically temperature of the sandwich cooler was at 4C.
2. Sliding door cooler in the back had its rubber seal fallen off on the right side of the door.
Corrective Action(s): 1. Monitor the temperature for today and tomorrow. If temperature is still >4C, contact the technician and have it serviced. Do not store any potentially hazardous foods until the cooler can keep the temperature at or below 4C. Correct this by: April 12, 2022.
2. Reattach the rubber seal. Correct this by: April 12, 2022.

Routine inspection conducted:
Hand washing station in the front was fully equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towels.
QUATS sanitizer measured at 200 ppm as per test strips.
High temperature dishwasher's sanitizing cycle measured at 72.9C at the plate level.
No sign of recent pest activity noted at this time.
Ice machine in sanitary condition.
Coolers measured at 4C or less (see violation section for an exception).
Freezer measured at -18C or less.
Temperature log available.

Operator is to develop a plan on how to clean drop ceilings. Submit the plan to Kangmin.gu@fraserhealth.ca for review by April 12, 2022.
