Observation: Handwashing sink near 3-compartment sink lacked single-use paper towels. Handwashing sink in washroom did not have liquid soap.
Corrective Action(s): Operator to ensure handwashing sinks are equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap, and single-use paper towels at all times to encourage proper and frequent handwashing.

Observation: Rubber gloves and clutter noted next to 3-compartment sink. Debris noted under walk-in cooler shelving and on storage room floors. Sticky residue noted on floors in front of office. Debris and build-up noted on washroom floors and walls, respectively.
Corrective Action(s): Operator to ensure noted areas are cleaned and sanitized as per Sanitation Plan. Storage rooms require organization to facilitate cleaning. Items not required for business use are to be removed from premises.

Manual warewashing procedures reviewed with Manager. Procedures were satisfactory.
Coolers (walk-in, 2 under counter, condiments unit - upper and lower components, open display unit, milk and cream dispenser, standing display unit) noted at 4C or below.
Freezers (2 standing units, ice cream unit, standing display unit) noted at -18C or below.
Ice freezer noted at -11C.

No signs of pests at the time of inspection.

Operator to ensure storage is at least 15 cm off the floors and protected from contamination to prevent pest attraction.

Random auditing of product expiration dates noted expired Junior Advil. Expired medications pose a health hazard. Item was discarded at the time of inspection. Operator to ensure proper rotation of products is in place, following a "First In, First Out" protocol.

Operator to ensure mop bucket is emptied promptly after each use to prevent the attraction of pests.
