Hand sinks provided with liquid soap and paper towels.
Sanitizer (quats) measured 200 ppm.
Upright coolers were at or below 4 deg C.
Upright freezer was at -20 deg C.
Walk-in freezer was at -16 deg C. (Maintain this freezer at -18 deg C minimum.)
Hot dog rollers not used at time of inspection (usually on weekends or very busy times).
High temp. dishwasher reached 76.8 deg C at plate surface.
Temperature log was available and up to date.
Line coolers (front service counter) was at or below 4 deg C.
Soft ice cream machine - milk stored at 1-2 deg C. Machine cleaned and sanitized on a regular basis.
No signs of pests noted. Pest control in place.
-Ensure to store bulk sugar in pest proof containers.
Janitorial mop sink area was available and cleaned (mop heads need to be soaked in bleached to remove smell).
Washrooms were in satisfactory condition.
General sanitation was satisfactory.
Note: Food Safe 1 taken prior to July 2013 will expire July, 29, 2018.
Please ensure managers and staff working in the kitchen area have valid Food Safe 1 certificates.
