Observation: 1) Bag of flour and opened bag of sugar stored on storage room floor.
2) Plastic cup being used to scoop ice and was being stored in ice machine
Corrective Action(s): 1)Store all food items 6" off of the floor. Opened bags should be sealed tightly or stored in pest proof containers.
2) Cup removed from ice bin at the time of the inspection. Obtain proper scoop with handle for ice and store scoop in a manner that the handle does not come into contact with the ice (eg. in a clean container outside of the ice bin)

Comments

-General sanitation is satisfactory
-Handsinks supplied with liquid soap and paper towel
-All coolers at 4C or colder. Raw meats stored beneath ready to eat items in the back prep cooler. Items in coolers covered or wrapped to prevent contamination.
-Freezer was at -12C
-Rice was being held at 62C
-High temperature dishwasher met sanitizing temperature requirement. Rinse temperature was 73.1C at the dish surface measured with min/max thermometer
-Wiping cloths stored in bleach sanitizer solution (100-200ppm chlorine)
-Staff on duty reported blender pitchers are washed and sanitized in the dishwasher every 4 hours. Timer set to notify staff. Blender pitchers appeared clean at the time of the inspection.
-No signs of pest activity noted.
-One staff member present with Foodsafe level 1 certificate was shown.
