Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: 1. Ice machine observed with a build-up of brown debris on the machine under the lid.
2. Drink nozzles connected to pop syrup in front area observed with long-standing debris.
Correction: Clean and sanitize all food contact surfaces (ice machine, and drink nozzles) to prevent cross contamination and the attraction of pests.
Comments

Follow up inspection
- All rodent droppings under front till have been removed and area cleaned.
- Flour, dry good items, and take out sauces all placed in pest proof containers. EXCELLENT!
- Hole discovered in front till area was sealed.
- Hole found in back kitchen area has been sealed.
- Tiles under three-compartment sink in the process of being replaced.
- Long-standing debris under shelving has been cleaned.
- Chemicals and tools stored in designated storage area.
- Ice machine and drink nozzles have been cleaned.

Corrections Needed:
- Send a copy of the most recent pest control report to the undersigned by March 26, 2021.

Recommendations:
- Have front till area shelving and ice machine cleaned regularly.
- Covid-19 Safety Plan on site. The first, second, third, and forth levels of protection should be completed indicating all the steps your premises is doing to prevent the spread of Covid-19. For example wearing masks, daily health checks, distance markers, occupancy limits etc. Ensure it meets the requirements of the BC Provincial Health Orders and WorkSafeBC.
- All tables in the dining area should be spaced out such that the back of one chair at one table is 2 meters from the back of the chair of the adjacent table.
