Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Wooden cutting block next to dry storage room has deep crevices that cannot be cleaned and sanitized -food debris noted there

NOTE: Repeat infraction this citation was observed on the routine inspection on January 20, 2020 -Correction Order issued
Corrective Action(s): Shave down the wooden cutting boards to make it a smooth cleanable surface -this must be done regularly so the surface can be adequately cleaned of food debris.

Do not use the cutting board until it is shaved down

If this cannot be maintained you will be required to remove ALL wooden cutting blocks and use hardened plastic/glass cutting boards only

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Glass washer showing no bleach sanitizer residual as per chlorine test strips

NOTE: the chlorine sanitizer vat was almost empty
Corrective Action(s): Repair washer -must be minimum >50ppm chlorine residual

Do not use the glasswasher until it is repaired. Use the Main washer in the meantime.

-No Safety Plan available -All businesses MUST have a COVID-19 Safety Plan drawn up -operator was emailed the specifics
-No sick warning sign posted at front door -copy provided
-No workers in the kitchen were wearing masks -All kitchen workers MUST be wearing masks as they cannot physically distance 2m at all times
-Dining tables have been removed in order to meet the 2m physical distancing rules
-Enhanced cleaning of chairs between customers is required

Follow-up inspection next Thursday
