Report of Findings
Community Care Facilities Licensing (CCFL) received information that the care being provided at this address may require a Community Care Facility Licence.
Licensing Officers were on site February 08, 2022, where the operator confirmed that they provide care to 8 children unrelated to them by blood or marriage.

Licensing determined Camellia Paterson was operating an unlicensed facility in contravention of the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA).

The following contravention was cited:
- Community Care Assisted Living Act section 5(a) Operating or advertising without a licence

The operator is required to immediately reduce the number of children in care to no more than two children unrelated to them or one sibling group. The Licensing Officer will conduct a follow up inspection to confirm ongoing compliance.

On April 13, 2022, Licensing was onsite to conduct a follow up inspection. Licensing confirmed that the care provider was now operating in compliance with the CCALA.
