At the inspection dated January 8, 2020 there were 4 children and 1 adult present.
Action required by the licensee includes providing a written response by January 15, 2020. Actions required by licensing include review the written response.
Licensing conducted a walk through of the entire home and determined that ages and group size is in compliance.
As part of the routine inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided. The Risk Assessment includes non-compliance identified during the routine inspection and a 3 year “historical” review of the facility’s compliance and operation.
The following discussions were had:
- Licensing noted the Nutrition and Behavior policy does not reflect the current practice. A discussion was had with the licensee regarding going through the policies and procedures to ensure they reflect the current practice.
- A discussion was had with the licensee about documentation in the log book and to ensure when documenting to include the five W's (who, what, when, where, why, how).
