Routine inspection conducted with park manager Mark Turner - email sent Oct 25 2024 with inspection report follow up items (see file)
- Mn to be added to quarterly post-treatment sampling in addition to arsenic as raw sample showed Mn was above MAC
- ERCP – contract signed with EDS Pumps in July 2024 – submitted ERCP at that time – EDS Pumps to maintain well pump and chlorination system
- Treatment equipment (carbon filter and arsenic filters) maintained by Culligan – last onsite September 2024 – inspected equipment and provided proposed treatment plan for manganese
- Annual Report is posted at office notice board
- Well #2 in man hole – not connected to system. No plans for use as backup well. Well to be decommissioned as per Groundwater Protection Regulations
- No recent complaints received by operator
- Chlorine residual testing conducted weekly – recorded in maintenance book
- Pressure at 60 psi at time of inspection
- Well head located in treatment room. 6 inch stick up. Concrete floor. Cap secure
- Generator onsite – manual start up – gas powered – last used in September 2024
- Currently using 12% NaOCl – undiluted for pre and post chlorination
- No broken water mains or pressure drops over the last year
- Well peroxidation with 12% NaOCl Carbon filter X2 arsenic filter X2 secondary disinfection with 12% NaOCl
- Sewage disposal system now inspected annually by MOE – last inspected August 2024
- 150 sites currently being occupied during winter months full time
- Chlorine residual at main washroom measured 0.11 mg/L and 0.38 mg/L and 0.18 mg/L at office
