A routine inspection was completed:
Main Kitchen
- Upright cooler 4C; walk-in-cooler 4C; thermometers present; and temps recorded daily.
- High temperature dishwasher had rinse cycle of 76.2C at the plate's surface as per max/min thermometer.
- Hand sinks stocked with liquid soap, paper towels, and running hot and cold water.
- Quats sanitizer in spray bottle had strength of 200ppm.
- All foods stored in food grade containers; covered; labelled; date coded; foods stored in groups; and food stored 6" off the floor on shelves or cupboard.
- No expired foods in used. FIFO rules being followed.
- General sanitation level is good.
- No signs of pests. A professional pest company monitors the premises at least once a month. Tin traps placed throughout premises.
- Valid FoodSafe certified staff present, or possesses an equivalent certificate.
- Valid health permit and decal posted.
- Blue kitchen is used by residents to cook their own meals.
- Wooden box under the dishwasher in the main kitchen has been replaced with a metal stand.
- Lower shelf storing the dishwasher racks has been replaced with a plastic shelf that is durable, smooth, sealed, and cleanable.
Food Storage Room
- Walk-in-cooler was 4C; walk-in-freezer -21C; thermometers present; and temps recorded daily.
- All foods stored in food grade containers; covered; labelled; date coded; foods stored in groups; and food stored 6" off the floor on shelves or cupboard.
- No expired foods in used. FIFO rules being followed.
- General sanitation level is good.
- No signs of pests. A professional pest company monitors the premises at least once a month. Tin traps placed throughout premises.
ACTION
Repair the walls in the Food Storage Room, this was mentioned in the last health inspection and was required to be corrected by May 2024. Repair and reseal the wall so it is smooth, level, durable, and cleanable. Failure to correct this will result in issuance of orders, tickets, and/or fines.
Repair the upright cooler in the main kitchen so it no longer leaks. |
