Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): - Bleach solution in a spray bottle tested 0ppm. No buckets with bleach solution in use to sanitize the food contact surfaces.
Corrective Action(s): - Staff prepared a bottle with 200ppm bleach solution to spray on the cutting board and the meat cutter.
- Information given on the importance of sanitizing the food contact surface minimum every 2 hours or after each use.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): - Staff was observed to walk out of washroom without washing his hands.

Corrective Action(s): - Staff went back to washroom to wash his hands.
- Food handler must wash their hands after using washroom, and before returning to work.

Comments

Routine inspection conducted with the presence of 2 staff.

- General sanitation was OK.
- Handwash station fully equipped with liquid hand soap, hot/cold running water and paper towel. However, the handle of the faucet was broken, please repair.See code.
- Bleach sanitizer available but not in use, see Code.
- Front display coolers at 4C or lower and equipped with working thermometers.
- Walk-in cooler at 4C or lower.all food item properly covered, and the floor was clean.
- Front display/upright freezer measured at -18C.
- No food debris accumulated in the meat cutting machine.
- Two-Compartment sink used for manual ware-washing. Drain plugs present.
- No cooking and hot holding Upstairs.

Note: Staff stated that there's going to be a renovation for upstairs. Please send an application to District Health Inspector including a new floor plan, new equipment and new menu for approval.
