Observation: - Rodent droppings observed along floor/ wall edges in warehouse areas and behind food storage pallet and shelving areas. Droppings appear newer and occurred since the last inspection.
Corrective Action(s): - Remove all droppings from the following areas and thoroughly clean:
- Under and behind all storage shelves, pallets, and hard to reach areas.
- Surfaces of all storage shelves.
- Areas under sinks in warehouse.
- Remove and/ or mitigate all potential conditions that may cause rodent attraction and/ or harbourage.

Observation: - Multiple potential pest entry points and areas favourable to rodent nesting observed.
Corrective Action(s): - Repair damaged walls in receiving areas. Seal holds and gaps.
- Install bottom and side door sweeps on roll-up bay doors.
- Repair and/ or replace door sweep at entry door.
- Clean up and remove all spilled food debris accumulation.
- Seal floor cracks.
- Seal holes/ gaps throughout warehouse.
- Remove and/ or mitigate all potential conditions that may cause rodent attraction and/ or harbourage.
- Ensure that all areas of the facility are accessible for pest control service.
- Follow all recommendations provided by your pest control service technician.

Comments

- Required cleaning has been completed; however, operator must continue to regularly and frequently maintain a higher level of sanitation throughout the premises:
- Ensure that all broken/ ripped food packages are immediately removed to prevent potential pest attraction.
- Remove and clean up all spilled food immediately to prevent potential pest attraction.
- Regularly discard used cardboard or Styrofoam packaging to remove potential pest attraction and nesting areas.
- Regularly remove and clean areas where rodent droppings are found so that area can be monitored for new and/ or increased activity.
- Continue to regularly and frequently remove and/ or mitigate all potential conditions that may cause rodent attraction and/ or harbourage.
- Ensure that all areas of the facility are easily accessible for pest control service.
- Allow for a minimum 12" gap between walls and pallets so that areas are accessible for pest control monitoring, cleaning, and pest control service treatment.
- Ensure all items are stored at least 6" off the ground to facilitate cleaning and pest control monitoring.
- Continue to follow all recommendations provided by your pest control service technician.
- Continue to monitor pest activity. Report new and/ or increased activity to your pest control service technician.

Note: Premises has a monthly pest control service contract with a pest control company. Operator has a new service agreement with pest control company to repair/ address structural issues (gaps/ holes/ cracks) in warehouse. Corrections are scheduled to be completed by end of February 2023.
**Regular cleaning, pest monitoring, and maintenance of a higher level of sanitation throughout premises are still required in conjunction with pest control service agreement.**
