This inspection done by EHO student.
-Premise is a food store that sells pre-packaged food, bulk candy, coffee & slushes.
-General sanitation is satisfactory
-No obvious signs of pest activity observed
-All coolers: 4 deg. C or less
-All freezers: -18 deg. C or less
-Handwash station in washroom equipped with liquid soap, paper towel and hot/cold water.
-Handwash station at 2-compartment sink equipped with cold/hot water, soap and paper towel.
-2-drain plugs available for the two sinks & a bottle of bleach
-2-compartment sink was unobstructed and fully accessible at time of inspection
-Reviewed manual dishwashing procedure with operator (for coffee urns and slushee machine): Ensure equipment is 1) washed with soap water, 2) rinsed with clean water, 3) sanitized with 100 ppm chlorine sanitizer solution (2-5 ml bleach per 1 liter of water), 4) Air dry.
-Single use plastic tongs used for bulk candy
*Keep the tongs for the bulk candies stored outside the container.
-Mop water is discarded in the toilet on site in staff washroom.
*On site visit will be conducted to drop off a manual warewashing sign for the operator.
