Observation: Rodent droppings observed near dishwashing area and under handwash sink. Rodents are carriers of diseases and can contaminate food and food contact surfaces with urine, faeces & saliva.
Corrective Action(s): - Please remove the rodent droppings from the abovementioned areas and disinfect the area with 1 part bleach to 9 part water solution. Use proper PPE during cleaning.
- Notify your Pest Control Company about the issue.

Observation: No lighting was available in one of the walk in freezer and a walk in cooler. Operator stated that light bulb will be replaced soon. Please note that adequate lighting is important in assessing the sanitary condition of equipment/floor as well as to prevent the risk of food contamination due to accidental chemical spill/physical contaminants.
Corrective Action(s): Please provide adequate lighting in both walk in cooler & freezer by March 31, 2023.

Routine inspection conducted.

- Facility primarily sells frozen ice cream & kulfis. Both are prepared from pasteurized pre-mix supplied by an licensed/approved supplier. Food processing includes mixing -> freezing overnight -> retail/wholesale.
- Temperature of coolers recorded at 4C or less.
- Freezers were recorded at -18C or lower.
- Operator stated that small portion of vermicelli is usually stored at room temperature and used within 1hour.
Please note that if time is being used as public health control for storing cold potentially hazardous food at room temperature, time tracking should be conducted and logs to be available for verification.
- All freezers were maintained in good sanitary condition.
- Handwash sink in the front and back kitchen were equipped with hot and cold potable water, liquid soap and paper towels.
- 3 compartment sink used for manual dishwashing. Bleach is used as sanitizer for food contact surfaces. Machines are washed and sanitized as per manufacturer's instructions.
- 200ppm bleach solution available in bucket.
- Back door was closed.

NOTE - Poison was used for rodent issue. As use of certain types of poison is prohibited in food premises, please speak with your Pest Control Company regarding the use of poison.
