Observation: Facility was found to have rodent droppings in both the front area and storage areas. Facility is currently serviced by a professional pest control operator on a monthly basis.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure facility is maintained in a condition free of pests. Clean and sanitize all areas affected by rodent droppings and contact pest control as needed. To prevent further infestation ensure the following area carried out: seal potential entry points, ensure foods are stored in pest proof containers, maintain the facility in a clean and sanitary condition, remove waste from the facility on a daily basis, remove any standing water, and remove vegetation from entrances.

Comments

-Walk-in cooler was at 4C.
-Cream dispenser was at 4C.
-Novelty freezer was at -22C.
-Soft serve machine was not working at the time of inspection - unit is broken and will be replaced.
-Handwash station supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Cleaning and sanitizing carried out in the 2-compartment sink in the front.
-Random selection of foods found two sandwiches past their best before dates. Ensure stock is properly rotated and are within their best before dates.
-Foods were in good condition and stored off the ground.
-Washroom clean and sanitary. Handwash station supplied with liquid hand soap and single use paper towels.
