Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Scoop for ice was stored on a plastic bag in the chest freezer.
Corrective Action(s): Keep scoop for ice stored in a container/holder and ensure the scoop and the container/holder is put through the dishwasher at the end of each day.

Observation: Noted dust build up and dark staining on ceiling tiles above the coffee machines.
Corrective Action(s): Clean ceiling tile in this area. This issue was noted on the previous routine inspection report.

Comments

- Hand wash stations equipped with soap, paper towel, hot and cold running water.
- All cooler 4C or less (sandwich prep, display case, undercounter milk,.. etc)
- Chest freezer -18C
- No hot holding available at time of inspection. Staff said they no longer have soup on the menu.
- Chlorine sanitizer in spray bottles 100ppm. Staff appear to be using single use paper towel to wipe. Reminded staff that if reusable cloth towels are being used that they should be stored in a container of sanitizer solution. Do not store reusable cloth towels on counters.
- High temperature dish washer achieved 71C (as per thermolabel)
- General sanitation satisfactory. No obvious sign of pest activity noted at time of inspection.
- Container of ice in chest freezer. Bags of ice are obtained from save on foods. Reminded staff to keep a lid on the ice as much as possible to prevent potential food contamination. Ice was the only ingredient/item in the chest freezer at time of inspection.
- Sandwiches and desserts come in premade and appear to be from approved sources.
