Observation: Observed droppings throughout the back storage area. Store manager indicated that Orkin makes bi-weekly visits and sometimes ondemand calls. Overall areas are clean and organized but hard-to-reach areas may have been left uncleaned as only hard-to-reach areas had rodent droppings. Some droppings were too large to be mice droppings. When removing droppings, ensure to follow pest control technicians' recommendation as you may be exposed to rotavirus. These viruses can get aerosolized if and when disturbed.
Corrective Action(s): Required operator to contact pest control to receive recommandations and to remove/clean rodent droppings. Regular cleaning and sanitizing of all areas must be conducted to maintain sanitary conditions as well as to monitor for pest activities.
