Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): No sanitizer detected in container with cloths submerged. This issue was noted on the previous routine inspection. Staff member on duty said the sanitizer was made about 2 days ago.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure sanitizer is made fresh at the start of each day and changed routinely throughout the day (ie. once every 2 hours) to ensure minimum required sanitizer concentrations are maintained.

401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Noted two bins, one stacked on top of each other, obstructed access to the hand sink beside the dishwasher at time of inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure hand wash stations remain unobstructed at all times.

Comments

All hand wash stations fully equipped with soap, paper towel, hot and cold running water. See violation code 401 re: obstruction.
Splash guard has been installed between hand sink and drying board at the end of the dishwasher.
All coolers 4⁰C or less (undercounter, inserts, upright sliding two door...etc). Bean sprouts on ice.
Freezers less than -18C
Hot holding of rice higher than 60⁰C. No hot holding of broths available at time of inspection (lunch rush just finished).
General sanitation satisfactory. No obvious sign of pest infestation noted at time of inspection. Back door to hall was closed at time of inspection.
Meat slicer in use at time of inspection. Staff said meat slicer is cleaned and sanitized after each use and is used about twice a day.
Ice machine appeared clean with scoop for ice stored hanging on hook outside of the ice.
Sanitizer in spray bottles 100ppm. See violation code 302 re: sanitizer container with cloths submerged.
High temperature dish washer achieved 71⁰C (with thermolabel).
Sleeve for installed over lights in the back of the kitchen that were missing a light cover.
