Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Paper towel dispenser in the front service area was jammed. Wrong type of paper towel was noted in dispenser. Staff member on duty changed the roll of paper towel in the dispenser at time of inspection. Hot/cold running water and soap available. No concerns with hand wash station in back area where two compartment sink is located.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure proper paper towel is put in each disperser to ensure it is working and paper towel is readily available at the hand sinks for food handlers.

Observation: Buildup of dust noted on ceiling tiles in back area where two compartment sink is located. Some spilled food (rice) noted in the dry storage unit.
Corrective Action(s): Clean ceiling tiles and dry storage unit.

Observation: Noted tape on large rice cooker used for white rice on counter beside two compartment sink. Small white rice cooker used for brown rice was very worn away and cracking.
Corrective Action(s): Remove tape from large rice cooker and repair/replace as needed. Smaller white rice cooker appears it is too damaged to repair - discontinue using it and replace.

Comments

All coolers 4C or less (prep cooler, under counter cooler, large pop cooler, two small pop coolers)
Freezers -14C to -19C (Ensure all frozen potentially hazardous foods are stored at -18C or less).
Hot foods were being cooked in order to be transferred into hot holding units. Hot holding units were being preheated.
Probe thermometer available on site to check internal temperature of foods. Ensure probe is sanitized between uses.
No obvious sign of pest activity noted at time of inspection.
Chlorine sanitizer at source in container with cloths submerged 100ppm. Test strips available.
Manual ware washing procedures reviewed at time of inspection – no concerns. 2 drain plugs available for two compartment sink.
All stored foods appeared protected (ie. stored off the ground, covered..etc)
