401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)] Observation: Papertowel dispenser by front counter handsink is empty. Non-compatible papertowels piled on top of dispenser. Corrective Action(s): Provide a new papertowel dispenser that is compatible with new papertowel supply. Violation Score: 5

209 - Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)] Observation: Food inventory stored beside and together with chemical products in dry storage room and in storage cabinet. Corrective Action(s): Re-organize storage areas, food items / take-out containers are to be stored separate and apart from any chemical products to avoid potential food contamination. Violation Score: 3 305 - Conditions observed that may allow entrance/harbouring/breeding of pests [s. 26(b),(c)] Observation: Dry storage room is infested with mice. Mouse droppings observed throughout area on floor, on shelving among expired food. Expired food products have signs of mice feeding. Baseboards have been chewed through in multiple locations in storage room. Storage room is cluttered, large amounts of inventory are piled on the floor and pushed up against the wall preventing staff from conducting cleaning and pest control service to assess points of entry. Corrective Action(s): Pest control service is to be hired to pest proof building, sealing off any potential entry points. Baseboards are to be repaired where mice have chewed through. Dry packaged food inventory are to be stored in pest proof containers. Re-organize inventory off the floor to allow for cleaning and pest monitoring. Violation Score: 9 306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)] Observation: Mouse droppings on floor, shelving and corners of dry storage area. Corrective Action(s): All areas described are to be thoroughly cleaned to remove all build-up of debris from surfaces. Areas affected by pest activity must be sanitized with dilute bleach solution (100 ppm chlorine 1 tsp bleach / 1 liter water) after cleaning. Violation Score: 9
