Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: -Noted wiping rags (dirty) on counter , on cutting board- No surface sanitizer is available at the back
-Noted take out containers under sink in the front
Correction: -Use only clean wiping rags and keep them in a surface sanitizer between uses
-No food or food related items to be stored under sink- take them out
-All take out containers to be fully sealed and protected over night due to rodent issues.


Code 402 noted on Routine inspection # FEMI-CTGQ8B of Jul-06-2023
Employee does not wash hands properly or at adequate frequency [s. 21(3)]
Observation: Noted employees are not washing hands or washing their gloves ????
Correction: Food handler to wash their hands properly- for glove any contamination, take out the gloves discard wash hands and put new gloves on!!!
Comments

-Noted issues are addressed.
-bleach solution is ready for wiping rags >100 ppm in a couple location now
-Test strip is available.

Discussed:
**-Lack of storage and prep space in the facility
**Lack of FS trained staff
** Increasing frequency of cleaning and sanitation of the facility

* Due to rodent issue: keep the back door closed and keep all foods and take out containers in sealed bin over night. Surfaces to be fully sanitized again before any prep in the morning
* Keep the Log sheet up to date


Send an action plan addressing ** items (with time line for each) by July 14-2023 to the attention of the area inspector.

Violation tickets will be on file till next routine inspection.
