Routine health inspection. Walk in cooler at 3 degrees C. Walk in freezer at -14 degrees C. Upright 2-door freezer (back area) at -19 degrees C. Upright 2-door coolers (two, back area) at 2 degrees C and 3 degrees C. Grab n go retail cooler at 4 degrees C or less. Retail cooler (dairy, etc.) at 4 degrees C or less. Chest freezers at -22 to -23 degrees C. Temperature logs maintained and up to date. Random sample of canned food checked for dents/bulging - no concerns. Random sample of infant formula and nutritional supplements checked for expiry - within expiry dates. No signs of pest activity observed at the time of inspection. Last pest control report dated August 15, 2024 noted no pest activity. Premises has been re-organized since the previous routine health inspection. Some food items are being stored in bins in the back storage area to allow for easy access and cleaning of the shelves. Note: Small gaps observed under receiving/back door. Manager stated a work order would be placed today to have the gaps sealed to limit potential pest entry at this location.
