Observation: Observed 10+ flies in the back storage area. A broken/exposed pumpkin was noted in the back storage area. Staff indicated that the pumpkin came in today in the recent delivery.
Corrective Action(s): - Follow up with the licensed pest control company to tackle the flies concern.
- Ensure that any exposed food product is discarded in a timely manner
- Inspected the back storage area for any standing water and ensure the frequency of cleaning of the back area is increased.
- Have pest control logs available for next routine inspection
- Correction date: 2 weeks

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Observed gaps in the first exterior door (which was closed) in the back storage area and the secondary door was wide open at the time of inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Staff had closed the secondary door in the back storage area and no gaps were observed around the door.

Routine Inspection
- All cooler units registered temperatures at or below 4 deg C
- All freezer units registered temperatures or or below - 18 deg C
- Hand washing stations supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel
- Random canned food product was observed to identify any dents. No issues were observed
- Random checks of best before dates/expiration dates was conducted. No issues noted
- Two compartment sink is available for manual warewashing
- Food contact sanitizer registered at 100-200 ppm chlorine
- Meat slicer and grinder were recently in use, the clean in place and sanitation steps were reviewed
- Overall sanitation is satisfactory
