Comments

At this inspection, no contraventions were identified. During the inspection, Licensing was to the away play spaces with the Manager.

As part of this Routine Inspection, a Facility Risk Assessment Tool was completed.

The following was discussed:

ยท Procedure for checking nap room in the infant room prior to children sleeping. The cord to the music player was at the children's level and the equipment was placed on a ledge approx over 5 feet high. There were no children in the nap room and the staff advised that the cord is made out of reach prior to children entering the space.

The information contained in the report was discussed with the Manager and the report and risk assessment were written on-site. Licensing advised that copies of the report and risk assessment would be emailed to the facility.

Visit the CCFL website at www.fraserhealth.ca/childcare for additional resources, and links to the Legislation (CCALA and CCLR).
