Observation: Rodent droppings found in the following places:
- Floor throughout
- Bottom shelves throughout.

Correction: Clean and sanitize all areas/surfaces contaminated by rodent droppings:
- Wash and sanitize floor
- Wash and sanitize lower shelves
- Pull out rolling racks of plates and sanitize floor
- Clean and sanitize cupboard under coffee station
- Clean and sanitize all floors in storage area
- Clean and sanitize ALL dishes, pans, trays and cutting boards found on bottom shelves as rodent droppings have been found in these locations. Run all items through the dishwasher.

Observation: Handsink appears to be broken.
Lack of paper towels at main handsink.

Correction: Repair handsink in kitchen. Staff have access to adjacent two compartment sink for handwashing until repairs can be made (there are a total of 3 other sinks in kitchen area.) Ensure this two compartment sink is used for handwashing and accessible for staff at all times.
Repair this handsink IMMEDIATELY. Locate paper towel dispensing unit.

Observation: Rodent droppings found in the following places:
- On shelf storing cutting boards
- On counters
- On rolling plate rack storage on top of plastic cover
- On shelf storing pots and pans
- On shelf storing lids
- On shelf storing opened disposable cups - DISCARD CUPS IMMEDIATELY

Correction: ALL dishes and items that have been contaminated by rodents, or have the POTENTIAL to have been contaminated by rodent urine or feces, are to be run through the dishwasher for a sanitizing. Any surfaces are to be wiped down with 200ppm chlorine solution (instructions on centre island in ORANGE)

Spray rodent droppings with 200ppm chlorine solution or equivalent. Remove droppings from area. Wet affected area with 200ppm chlorine or equivalent and soak area.
Inspect facility for points of entry for pests. Seal any holes.
Obtain services of professional pest control company.
Have traps set.

CLOSURE ORDER RESCINDED
- Facility has obtained services from Pest Control company and will continue to be serviced by company on ongoing basis (weekly for first 6 weeks then monthly) - reports reviewed
- Facility has been completely cleaned and sanitized on Monday once again

ITEMS TO CORRECT:
- Continue to obtain services from Pest Control Company
- Clean and sanitize the floor where the two rodent droppings were found today
- Continue to trap and monitor for Pests
- Plastic wrap remaining rolling rack of dishes to ensure adequate protection from contamination of rodent droppings
