Introduction

Introduction An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). Facility Risk Assessment Screening for COVID 19. All areas of the facility wer inspected. 1. Physical facility 2. Health and Illness Policy 3. Hygiene/ communicable disease contact 4. Registration 5. Observed Violations

PHYSICAL FACILITY, EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS: 11080 - CCLR s.15(1)(a) - A licensee must supply equipment, furniture and supplies that are (a) of sturdy and safe construction, easy to clean and free from hazards. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): there were two nails observed sticking out of the slide structure that presented a potentially hazardous situation Corrective Action(s): the nails were removed by staff, no further action is required. Date to be Corrected: July 27,2020 POLICIES AND PROCEDURES: 13020 - CCLR s.22(1)(b) - A licensee must have all of the following: (b) an emergency plan that sets out procedures to prepare for, mitigate, respond to and recover from any emergency. Observation: the fire extinguisher has not been serviced in the last year or the tag has not been updated Corrective Action(s): please ensure that theservice is completed or the tag adjusted, Date to be Corrected: August 3,2020
