Observation: Staff informed that the light bulb has been recently replaced in the walk-in-cooler, however the shatter-resistant cover no longer securely fits over it. Light bulb in walk-in-cooler was not encased in a shatter-resistant cover.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure to install an adequately sized shatter-resistant light cover over the light bulb in the walk-in-cooler to protect food from any potential physical contamination upon any incidental breakage of the light bulb; Correct within 1 month.

Comments

Handsinks were supplied with liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and single-use paper towels.
Staff member was observed properly washing her hands.
Refrigeration units were at 4 degrees C or less:
-Walk-in-cooler: 1.9 degrees C.
-Pizza cooler: 3 degrees C bottom component, and -4.1 degrees C top component.
-Beverage cooler: 2.7 degrees C.
Refrigeration units were equipped with thermometers.
A probe thermometer was available.
200 ppm QUATS sanitizer was available in the labelled spray bottle and from the dispenser at the three compartment sink.
3-compartment sink was supplied with hot and cold running water. Three sink plugs were available.
Manual ware-washing was not occurring at the time of inspection.
No signs of recent pest activity were evident at the time of inspection.
Staff on shift held valid FOODSAFE Level 1 course training (expiration date: September 6, 2027).
