Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DOLSOP). All areas of the facility were reviewed for compliance with the exception of Policies and Procedures and Records and Reporting.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

On the inspection date of March 26, 2021 there were 23 children and 9 staff present. The manager of the facility was not available during this inspection however the staff and association directors were in contact and available with the Licensing Officer. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. Actions required by the licensee include no further action required and actions required the LO include no further action required. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool was completed. This inspection report and risk assessment was completed off site and emailed to the facility the same day.

Cleaning & Sanitizing Practices
Social Distancing Practices including suitable mask wearing was reviewed
Precautions and Practices for Sick Children
