Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Greater than 200 ppm chlorine sanitizer was setup in the spray bottle as the test strips were initially turning purple and then blanking out.
Corrective Action(s): 100 ppm chlorine sanitizer (1/2 teaspoon bleach per L of water) was resetup in the spray bottle again at the time of inspection.

401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Both compartments of the double compartment sink contained dishes, cutting boards, and containers inside it. One of these compartments must be designated for handwashing purposes only and must not be obstructed.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure the one compartment of the double compartment sink remains empty and accessible for handwahsing purposes only.

Comments

Handwashing station was adequately supplied with liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and paper towels.
Dishwasher final rinse temperature was at or above 71 degrees C internally at the plate.
No signs of recent pest activity were evident at the time of inspection.
Refrigerators were at or below 4 degrees C (40 degrees F).
Freezers were at or below -18 degrees C (0 degrees F).
Temperature records of refrigeration units and freezers were being maintained.
Food was covered in storage areas.
Chemicals were stored separately from food.
Temporary FOODSAFE Level 1 refresher course certificates were available for two staff members.
Manager was certified in FOODSAFE Level 1.
