Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): The glasswasher had 0 ppm Iodine.
Corrective Action(s): Glasses must be run through the dishwasher in the back until the glasswasher is fixed.

401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Meat slicer observed in the downstairs storage room. If any food preparation is going to take place here, the hand washing sink must be functional with nothing stored inside the sink and supplied with soap and paper towels.
Corrective Action(s): Box removed from the sink and soap and paper towels were supplied during the inspection. Ensure that this sink remains stocked with soap and paper towels.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Flour and rice stored in open bags in the storage room downstairs.
Corrective Action(s): Store all food in sealed, pest proof containers to prevent contamination while food is in storage.

Observation: A small number of droppings was found next to the dishwasher and in the storage room downstairs.
Corrective Action(s): Provide the invoice as proof that a professional pest control company has come on site within one week. A pest control company must continue to service this establishment until the pest issues have been resolved.

Observation: Heavy grease accumulation underneath the cook line and on the side of the fryers. French fries were also observed under equipment.
Corrective Action(s): Cleaning started during the inspection. Ensure that this is done on a regular basis.

Observation: a) See code 301- glasswasher does not have 12.5 ppm Iodine.
b) The bar hand washing sink has an elastic band around the handle since it is leaking.

b) Fix within one week.

Comments

The kitchen hand washing sink had hot and cold water, soap and paper towels.
The dishwasher final rinse temperature reached 72 C at the plate level. Check daily.
All coolers were < 4 C.
All freezers were < -18 C.
