Observation: Floor below the shelving units in the dairy (milk and egg) walk-in-cooler requires cleaning as there is spill and plastic wrap on the floor. Person-in-charge stated that the floor inside this unit is regularly cleaned on a biweekly basis and that they would try to arrange for it to be cleaned by November 4, 2019.
Corrective Action(s): Please clean the floor to maintain it in a clean condition; Correct by November 13, 2019.

Comments

Handsink was supplied with liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and paper towels.
200 ppm QUATS sanitizer was available from both dispensers at the mop sink and ware-washing sink units.
Refrigeration units (apart from the display cooler used to store orange juice) were at or below 4 degrees C.
Freezer temperatures were satisfactory.
No signs of recent pest activity was present at the time of inspection.
Pest control report via Ecolab dated October 17, 2019 was available on-site. Pest control program was in place on a biweekly basis.
Temperature logs were in place.
Automated alarm system was in place for the refrigeration units.
Baby food products that were checked were not past their expiration dates.
Canned products did not appear to be dented or bulging at the time of inspection.

Note: Cooler used to store orange juice was at 8 degrees C at the time of inspection and may be on a defrost cycle. Person in charge has contacted a technician as a precautionary measure to check it tomorrow, stated that they would monitor if it returns to at or below 4 degrees C, and move the orange juice to another cooler if it does not return. A follow up inspection will be conducted today.
