Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Sanitizer solution for food contact surfaces in the meat department was measured at 0ppm chlorine residual
Corrective Action(s): Prepare fresh solution by mixing one teaspoon of bleach in one litre of water to amke 100 ppm chlorine residual. Fresh solution must be prepared everyday

Comments

Routine inspection is conducted and following are observed:
Seafood and Meat -
- Handwashing stations are supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel
- Three compartment sink are available for manual warewashing
- Sanitizer bottle in fish department is measured at 100ppm chlorine residual solution
- Meat department cold room temperature is 10-12 C
- Walk-in freezer in meat and seafood are measured at less than -18C
- Seafood display is kept on ice and temperature is measured at less than 4C

Produce Department:
- Hand washing station provided with hot/cold running water, liquid soap and single use paper towels.
- 3-compartment sink available for manual warewashing.
- 200 ppm bleach sanitizer available in spray bottle.
- Walk-in cooler at 4C.

Retail and general observations:
- Food storage practices are satisfactory
- All coolers maintained at or below 4C
- All freezer maintained at or below -18C
- No signs of pest activity at the time of inspection. Pest control measures are in place.
- General sanitation satisfactory.
