Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act(CCALA) and the Child Care Licensing Regulations(CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of practice (DoLSoP).

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

Summary of Inspection:
The COVID-19 Pre-screening was conducted at the door.
During today’s inspection, there were 6 children, and 2 staff present.
The following was discussed
Updated BCCDC Guidelines were reviewed.
Licensing observed the nap mats were placed in close proximity in the nap space. Staff stated the beds are moved to give space for children who rest when its nap time.
Use of small children's pool was discussed. Water play bulletin was reviewed.
