- Back storage space is overstocked with miscellaneous items and unused equipment.
- Old mouse droppings observed in the back storage space.
Corrective Action(s):
- Ensure to discard any unused items. Organize items. All items should be 6 inches off the floor to allow easy cleaning and monitoring.
- Remove mouse droppings and sanitize affected areas.

- Numerous equipment/items observed not required for business operation.

- Remove unused domestic fridge at the front, disconnected toilet & many other unused equipment at the back.

Comments

- All coolers at 4C or below.
- All freezers at -18C or below.
- Operator stated coffee is no longer served now and the handsink station next to the coffee station is not being used at the moment.
- Lysol wipes available for sanitizing.
- Washroom handsink is fully equipped.

Operator wants to offer scooped gelato in the future. Ensure to consult with the city regarding any renovation or changes in the business. Operator to connect with the inspector for application of any addition of services.

*With no handsink accessible at this time, any dispensing of open food items or repackaging is not allowed.
* Ensure to keep the front door closed.
* Do not have incense sticks burning in the store as the smoke is potential contaminant.

A follow up inspection to be conducted in 2 months to ensure major clean up/organization has taken place.
