Multiple violations of section 14(2) of Food Premises Regulations - "14(2)Every operator of food premises must ensure that potentially hazardous food is stored or displayed at a temperature of not more than 4°C or not less than 60°C. " Follow up inspection conducted on the date of July 27, 2021 to ensure compliance with time recording for potentially hazardous food items in lieu of using Hot Holding Unit. Repeat Violation: facility NOT utilizing time control methods as a means to ensure potentially hazardous food items are discarded after two hours when stored at temperatures greater than 4 degrees Celsius and less than 60 degrees Celsius. These potentially hazardous food items are not stored in Hot Holding units at temperatures of equal to or greater than 60 degrees Celsius as per the Food Safety plan provided to Fraser Health Authority for approval prior to opening. Three pizza's (the potentially hazardous food items) were discarded during that inspection as internal temperatures of 25-35 degrees Celsius were observed. The staff was then informed that a VIOLATION TICKET would be issued to the restaurant (the corporation) as a result of the violations observed July 27,2021 at approximately 14:15. VIOLATION TICKET ISSUED AH71932266 for violations that occurred on July 27, 2021. Violations include: 1) Food Premises Regulation Section 14(2) Ticket was served to Director Mehmet Kubilay Eren on July 29, 2021. Shriver's Test performed. Photographs taken of Driver's licence for office records. Ticket issued to Corporation 1249197 BC Ltd. DBA Pizza Garden Brentwood located at F5 4567 Lougheed Hwy Burnaby. Staff and Management are to discuss operational procedures of time recording of potentially hazardous food items held at temperatures greater than 4 degrees Celsius and less than 60 degrees Celsius as this can jeopardize public safety and proper food safety practices. Time recording for storage of Pizza's (the potentially hazardous food item) at temperature range of greater than 4 degrees Celsius and less than 60 degrees Celsius is to occur AT ALL TIMES or future Violation Tickets or further enforcement will occur. Updated Food Safety Plan to be submitted (remove hot holding and include time recording).
