*General sanitation excellent throughout store.
*All cooler temperatures at or below 4 C. All freezer temperatures at or below -18 C.
*Hand sinks at counter and in washroom equipped with warm water, liquid soap and paper towels.
*Two-compartment sink available for warewashing of drinks machines.
*Quat sanitizer available at 200ppm in pre-mixed bottles.
*Note: no sanitizing step is being conducted while washing the frozen drinks machine hoppers/spouts. Discussed with operator on site during inspection - ensure either the 200ppm quat sanitizer (pink solution) or a 100-200ppm solution of bleach is used as a final step in this procedure, and the items are then allowed to air dry before use. 200ppm bleach solution can be mixed by adding one teaspoon of plain bleach to each Litre of water.
*Best before dates OK on sandwiches and other prepackaged food items in coolers.
*All food stored off floor; food stored separately from chemicals.
