Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Greater than 100 ppm chlorine sanitizer was available in the spray bottle in the downstairs kitchen as the chlorine test strips were bleaching out.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure 100 ppm chlorine sanitizer (1/2 teaspoon of bleach per L of water) is available in the spray bottle.

Observation: The permit that was posted belonged to the previous legal owner. Note: The current ownership matches the ownership on Fraser Health's record.
Corrective Action(s): A permit replacement form was provided to the person in charge. Ensure a new replacement permit to operate with the correct ownership information is obtained from Fraser Health and posted in a conspicuous location. Correct within 1 month.

Comments

Downstairs:
-Handsink was supplied with liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and paper towels.
-Domestic cooler was 4 degrees C (40 degrees F) or less.
-Domestic freezer was -18 degrees C (0 degrees F) or less.
-Thermometers were available inside the cooler and freezer.
-Dishwasher final rinse was 71 degrees C or hotter at the plate.
-See the above-noted concern regarding the chlorine sanitizer concentration being too strong in the spray bottle (corrected).
-A cloth towel was not hanging near the oven.

Garage area:
-Cooler was 4 degrees C (40 degrees F) or less and had two thermometers inside it to monitor the ambient temperature at the higher and lower levels inside it.
-Two chest freezers were -18 degrees C (0 degrees F) or less.
-Temperature records were being maintained. Recommended: Ensure the temperature record sheet is audited by management randomly at least on a monthly basis.

Upstairs:
-Handsink was adequately supplied with liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and paper towels.
-Domestic cooler was 4 degrees C (40 degrees F) or less.
-Freezer component was -18 degrees C (0 degrees F) or less.
-Refrigeration units were equipped with thermometers.
