Routine inspection conducted of store. The following observations were noted:

General comments:
- Store in very good sanitary condition
- Aisles are clear and well maintained
- No dented cans or compromised products observed at time of inspection
- Meal supplements and formulas were within expiry dates

1. Temperatures
- All display coolers, including open coolers / glass door coolers, maintained at 4C or less
- Display freezers at -18C or below
- Produce room / dairy compartment at ambient temperature of 3C

2. Sanitizing
- Handwash station in produce area and staff washrooms adequately stocked with hot/cold running water, liquid soap, and paper towels
- 3-compartment sink present and stocked with drain plugs for sanitizing
- Knives, cutting boards, knife magnetic board kept in sanitary condition
- Sanitizing dispenser releases 200 ppm quaternary ammonium compound (quats). Test strips available next to dispenser
- *Note: Please ensure that a sanitizer bottle is always on-site when staff are actively working on produce

3. Storage
- Chemicals for cleaning and sanitizing neatly stored in janitorial area (Note: area under backflow prevention device was leaking on top of mop sink - please address with a plumber)
- All produce and food items elevated at least 6" off floor
- Prepared produce such as salads are dated, FIFO system employed
- Ingredients are covered with tight-fitting lid to protect from contamination
- Bulk foods dispensary area well maintained, customer does not directly contact bulk goods. Area is swept and cleaned at the end of the day

4.Pest Management
- No visible signs of recent pest activity were observed at time of inspection
- Professional pest control company (Orkin) conducts bi-monthly audits, fly traps and mechanical rodent traps part of IPM program
- Receiving area is kept clear and in sanitary condition
- Odor suppressent added to garbage compactor to reduce smells

5.Waste Management
- Shrinkage is stored separately from products intended for sale and discarded at the end of the day
- Items returned through recycling program are periodically removed by personnel
